The 2026 season will be here before we know it, and that means staffing up for Outside Player Services and Comfort Stations! This is year twelve for our CCL University program, and we're looking for more graduates! If you know of any hardworking non-member young adults with a good head on their shoulders, please contact me with their name and number. Over the past several years, we are typically done hiring by the end of January. There going to be a HUGE buzz to play the new course...and we want to make sure the service is better than ever!
Many great staff members in the past have come from recommendations from our membership. The opportunity to graduate from CCL U and get connected with all CCL members is an excellent opportunity for any young adult! To date, we have helped place over two dozen young professionals in full-time, non-golf-related career positions!

It was a fun start to our inaugural event between CCL and Happy Hollow! With our course closed they hosted us this year and then we will host in 2026. Our team consisted of Julie Olson, Bart Tegt, Beth Schmeits, Susan Lanik, Gina Cotton, Jennifer Sturm, Jill Meginnis, Jane Connealy and not pictured, Michelle Benes and Jess Erstad. After a perfect day for golf, Happy Hollow narrowly claimed victory by a 9-6 point margin. Definitely a home course advantage that we will be repaying next year!
And now the Men's winners! With a ONE stroke victory over TEAM JACK (Aaron Bell, Nate Green and Jason Peter), we recognize our 2025 champions of Kyle Schneweis, Fred Phelan, Bill Maly and Mark Foelbaek. It was a tight victory that has all the other teams sleepless over a few missed putts;) Congrats to you guys and thank you to all the men who participated in this year's event!
It was a hard fought battle a few weeks back but there for 3 ladies who couldn't be beat...and one pro;) That team was Jennifer Sturm, Beth Schmeits, Kelsey Buckley and Mark Foelbaek! Proud CCL moment!!! Jack Flynn is officially heading to AUGUST to participation in the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship! Jack blew away the competition at the Regional Final at Hazeltine this past week...I mean not even close! The event will be held on Sunday, April 5th just prior to MASTERS week. Can't wait to watch this young man! Congratulations!!!
