We are thrilled to announce that the CCL Golf Shop has been recognized as a 2024 AGM winner for the 10th consecutive year! This incredible achievement wouldn't be possible without the amazing support of our membership.
Next up is the PGA Championship starting on May 15th! It will be held at the beautiful and very special Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC. It only takes $10 to win $1,000 in shop credit. So, stop by the shop, or call for a chance to enter!.
How it works:
1. A board with a total of 100 squares is printed. 2. We sell all the squares for $10 each, with no minimum number of squares you can buy. 3. After the cut on Friday night, we will put the top 10 on the leaderboard in a hat and randomly draw them across the top 10 columns. 4. We will do the same for the 10 side rows for players in the top 11-20. 5. Each square is then assigned 2 players. 6. If your players finish with the lowest score on the top and the side, you win.
This past weekend, former comfort station team member Kaylee Voss (not to be mixed up with her twin sister...our Merchandiser, Kaycee Voss;) got the surprise of a lifetime- a proposal on the 18th fairway! Kaycee had her thinking she was coming out for a nice Wagyu steak from chef, but instead she got an even better surprise, a ring! A huge congratulations to Kaylee on this special moment!
How about that, we are currently sitting at 36 teams for this year's Tradition Member-Guest! At this point we will take more players but only in EVEN numbers. Meaning the 37th team will be on the waitlist until we have a 38th team sign up. This would be a wonderful situation to have so if you have yet to sign up...please do so today! This year's event is going to be one for the ages!
The latest ACE comes from this past Monday! As many of you know that is the day that CCL's employees can tee one up. In this particular case Ben Kottmeyer of our Player Services team, decided to play with buddy, Sam Kline. Fast forward to Hole #5 and boom...Ben had an ACE! Rest assured your $5 is safe again with it not being a member HIO;) I still thought it would be fun to share this with all of you and congrats on your PERFECT shot, Ben!
Sam Anderson recently got fit for new wedges by Mark. He got the Titleist Vokey SM10 in the Nickel color - to avoid having the sun shining too much on the club. He is already loving the feel and the increased spin he is getting from new groves! Nice work Sam, now, who's next?!
